Nixa, Missouri

Nixa is a city located in Christian County, Missouri, United states with about 19, 022 population and one of the fastest growing cities in Missouri. Christian County is the 44thfastest growing County in the nation and growing faster than any other county in 30 states. This town is just 4 miles from Ozark and it's friendly rivalry has spurred positive growth not only in community features but in the schools as well.

The City was named after Nicholas A. Inman, a blacksmith who lived in the Nixa area who established partnership with Joe Weaver and opened a blacksmith shop in Ozark. Family descendants owned the majority of the land around Nixa out to what is now Cox Road.
